Description: The very best way to expand your knowledge of yarn is to experience different types of yarn! This can be challenging and expensive to do when full skeins of yarn can easily cost $20 and up. This special yarn tasting event gives you the opportunity to try out a variety of gorgeous and unique yarns at a fraction of the price of buying individual skeins. You’ll be hosted by Sarah Korth of SEK Handmade and the Bla Bla Black Sheep Podcast. A pattern designer and fiber teacher who loves to knit and crochet, Sarah will be available to share her experience, help with swatching and suggest projects for the different yarns. You’ll also have a seat reserved in The Bloomin Spindle’s retreat space to sit and swatch. Yarn tasters will also be able to take advantage of the Yarn Crawl exclusive discounts on yarn, store wide, for any full skeins they wish to purchase.

Tools and Supplies: Yarn – Each yarn tasting kit will include 10 mini tasting skeins for you to squish, swatch and take home.

Needles and Hooks – bring along your own favorite needles and hooks or borrow from the shop.
